Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of TradeDiary at tradediary.app. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

What TradeDiary is — and isn't

TradeDiary is a record-keeping and analytics tool: it imports the trades you made and reports on them. It is not an investment adviser, broker, or research service. Nothing in the product — including analytics, scores, alerts or AI-generated reviews — is investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Trading decisions and their outcomes are entirely yours. TradeDiary is not registered with SEBI in any capacity.

Your account

• You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• One person or firm per account; don't share accounts.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service — including attempting to breach security, scraping other users' data, uploading malicious files, reselling the service without permission, or using it for unlawful activity. We may suspend accounts that do.

Your data

Your trading data belongs to you. You grant us only the licence needed to store and process it to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export or delete your data at any time.

Market data & accuracy

Prices, analytics and computed P&L are provided on a best-effort basis and may be delayed, estimated (e.g. charges) or occasionally wrong. Always verify figures against your broker's official statements — especially for tax filing.

Plans & payments

• The free plan is free forever within its limits. Paid plans are billed in INR via Razorpay.
• Prices are exclusive of GST; a GST invoice is issued for every paid transaction.
• You can cancel any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

Availability

We aim for high availability but the service is provided "as is" without warranties. Maintenance windows, third-party outages (brokers, market data) or events beyond our control may interrupt it.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TradeDiary is not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable. On closure, your data is deleted per the Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in-app or by email before taking effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
