Check a Verified P&L screenshot
Paste the link code and the fingerprint shown on the screenshot. We recompute the record from the broker data we saved and tell you whether they match.
- Find the link code (the part after
/v/ in the address) and the fingerprint (TD-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) on the page or screenshot.
- Paste both below and press Check.
- ✓ Matches: the figures are exactly what the broker reported at the capture time shown. ✗ No match: they were not produced from this broker data.
- Then compare the daily seals listed for the record with any you noted earlier; a changed seal means that day's data changed.
What we verify, and why it can't be quietly changed
- Straight from the broker. We save exactly what the broker reports (fills, positions and prices) four times each trading day (09:30, 11:30, 13:30 and 15:30 IST) and again after each close.
- Locked when saved. That data is append-only: the database refuses any edit or deletion. Nobody can change it through TradeDiary, not the trader and not us.
- Nothing typed in by hand. The figures are calculated only from the saved broker data, never from journal entries or manual trades.
- Sealed every day. Each day's data has a SHA-256 fingerprint. If any of it were altered by any other route, the fingerprint would change, and the fingerprint on an earlier screenshot would no longer match here.
